Sir András #Schiff “is the latest recipient of the Japan Art Association's annual prize for music.”  Der renommierte “Praemium Imperiale Prize” im Bereich Bildende Kunst, Theater/Film und Architektur gingen an Marina #Abramović (Skulptur), Peter #Doig (Malerei), Anne Teresa De #Keersmaeker (Theater/Film), und Eduardo Souto De #Moura (Architektur). “This year's grant for young artists has been awarded to the UK's National Youth Theatre.”
Unser langjähriges #Schumann-#Forum-Mitglied Sir András Schiff erhielt den Preis für seine weltweite Bedeutung in der klassischen Musik. “Lord Patten of Barnes, Praemium Imperiale’s International Advisor in the UK” würdigte in seiner Laudatio Schiffs ”ability to ‘create artistry of the highest order’”.
